Splendid set of three matching antique signed E. F. Caldwell sconces, circa 1905-1910. These double-arm sconces feature a long, fluted backplate crowned with an urn and ending at the bottom in a foliate finial. The sconce arms begin with leaves and berries on the backplate, coming up a stately hexagonal wax pan and candle cup. These wall lamps are in excellent condition and have been professionally rewired. A silver baluster runs down the center of the chandelier, ending in sleek, U-curved arms with glass bobeches, which are hung with sparkling icicle prisms. The chandelier finishes in a strand of beads with a smooth glass ball. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. A superb antique Art Deco slip shade chandelier, dating from the 1930’s. This five-light chandelier begins with a beautifully detailed canopy, coming down in a chain to a volute finial with foliate detail below. The slipper shades feature floral detail and a scalloped border; the chandelier body frames the shades with a torsade border, which also extends across each shade. The rest of the chandelier body is ornamented with flowers, ending in a dangling fleur-de-lis finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is in very good antique condition with some fleabites around the edges of the shades (pictured). This chandelier is 19” wide, 17” tall (body only), and 33 ½” long overall. A delightful pair of antique single-arm sconces, dating from the 1920’s, in their original polychrome finish with green accents. The sconces feature a cast iron backplate ornamented with a wreath of roses. A black wrought iron arm, fastened to the backplate with a floret button, supports a brass foliate bobeche. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. A superb antique brass five-light chandelier in its original polychrome finish, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a loop finial ornamented with leaves and a lattice pattern; below, five brass bands form the chandelier body and flare out into chandelier arms. Near the middle of the chandelier, the bands are overlaid with elongated leaves, each hung with a clear teardrop prism. The center of the chandelier features a cluster of three-dimensional polychrome flowers on stems. Each chandelier arm supports a foliate bobeche, and the chandelier finishes in a leaf cluster with a brass finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Dating from the 1920’s, the chandelier features a laurel-bordered canopy with an acorn finial and three hooks. A chain extends from each hook to support the bowl-shaped shade; each chain is fastened to shade with a volute. The shade is ornamented with an elegant fluted design.
