Dansk Design Japan, an attractive silver plated abstract miniature elephant. a 2.25" height & width, figurine, with base of 1" x 1.25" has stamp marks and created by GC , Gunnar Cyrew with etched monogram. Cocktail shaker with filter and cap. Silver plate, made circa 1916-1929. Made by Roberts of Sheffield (England), and bearing their stamp for this period. It has an engraving on the front "Felixstowe Golf Club, Gold Medal. 1929". Nice rope twist edge detail to the pull-off top section of the flask, and also to the lid. There is a patch of wear to the plate on the top of the lid, otherwise in excellent condition. Measures 18.5 cm high and just uner 9 cm diameter.   « Less

Silver plate cake or bread basket - late 1800s Aesthetic Movement period with very nice engraving of birds, dragonflies and flowers. Swing handle with twist and beaded decoration. Border of leaves to the basket. Maker is James Deakin & Sons, and the mark also includes the letters "EPGS" which stands for electro-plated German silver". Basket measures 31 cm long, 24 cm wide, and with the handle up it is 24 cm high. Basket itself is 7.5 cm high. Excellent condition. Circa 1871-1898.   « Less

Antique Sheffield plate 19th century sugar basket. Urn design with swing handle and pierced work border of leaves. Open work basket with initials panel bearing the initial "M" - or could be two initials ""TC." or "JC". Bristol blue glass liner. Basket measures 16.5 cm with the handle in the up position. With handle down, it is 11 cm high. Length 13 cm, width 10.5 cm. Some copper bleed showing, mainly to the foot. Very attractive item.   « Less

iCollect Antique Silver Plate : Extremely rare Transition period / Old Sheffield Platepair Venison Dishes C.1840 An extremely rare pair of transition period / Old Sheffield Plate Silver plate Venison Dishes of formed scallop shape having Deer handles on copper having the makers marks for Walker, Knowles and Co from about 1840 About 20 years ago we had a similar Dome and around that time also tried to buy a late 19thC similar Dish, we have not seen any more in our career. Circa: 1840 Good Overall untouched Antique Condition with some copper showing through, the anthlers have missing branches and the handles a little loose (which isn't a problem). We started to clean them but stopped when we realised the handles may have been gilt or bronzed so we are leaving them up to the buyer - please view images carefully, viewing welcome NW6/London - probably a dealer lot requiring light attention 13.5 inches (34cm) width X 10 inches (25.5cm) width X 7.5 inches (19cm) height approx Fresh to the market today from a good House in Hampstead Heath   « Less

Good-looking silver plate tea service - teapot, creamer, sugar and hot water or coffee pot. Maker is James Dixon, Sheffield, England, and it would date circa 1920s. Melon-shaped, very attractive, with lobed bodies and bud finial to the lids. Creamer and sugar have gilded interiors (stops tarnish tainting the milk or sugar). Excellent condition. Measurements: Teapot is 15 cm high and 30 cm wide handle to spout. Coffee pot is 24 cm high. A very good set by a very good maker.   « Less

Decorated in mixed metal style – interior with inlaid hummingbird, two dragonflies and primrose floral sprig, well detailed raised side band of bluebirds, insects, spider & web, poppies w/ foliage, reticulated rosette gallery with hinged handle with finely detailed rosettes, fans, daises and foliage, heavy reticulated footed base with foliage and cartouche. 9.5” dia, 5” tall.
