19th Century English Chinoiserie bookcase, circa 1870. Hard to find Chinoiserie pieces like this in a light color. We have for sale an antique store display J & P Coats spool & thread cabinet. The cabinet has 5 drawers with 4 of them having glass fronts to see the spool of threads. The J & P Coats logo is on all sides. The glass fronts has no cracks and still have the original hardware. One side has a separation in the wood. The sides are paneled making it strong and sturdy. There are 4 drawers under the doors and 4 drawers in the cabinet base. It is in great condition especially for its age, although we do not know the exact date it was made or the maker. We have for sale a hand painted cocktail cabinet circa 1930's from England. We do not know what part of England it came from. There is a label "Turnidge Product". The exterior has inlay burl with parts of the interior having inlay burl veneer. There is a light fixture on the inside with two decorative mirrors in the pull down compartment. There are bottle holders and lots of extra's. We found on the left front leg with the veneer wrap, otherwise it is in great condition. It is hand painted, not stenciled. The bottom part of the cabinet has a very nice roll top, bread board, three drawers and a nice sized shelved storage area. One of the drawers has a metal interior. The cabinet has a new back and new hinges. It is not a true antique due to some refinishing. It is not perfect, but is in really good condition. There are 2 wood shelves in the lower section.
