Circa 1910 WMF rectangular sardine dish, stand and cover. Glass dish with round corners, wavy inside edges and star like molding to center, sits inside a silver stand with pond lily pad decoration around the edge. Cover has the same pond lily decoration around the edge with a sardine as the finial. Impressed maker''s marks ''A.K.&CIE'' to the center of stand. This mark represents ''Albert Kohler and Cie'', a company that was taken over by WMF. Similar piece illustrated on page 253, ''Art Nouveau Domestic Design from Wurttembergische Metallwaren Fabrik'' published by the ''Antique Collectors Club'' Good.
