A magnificent antique figural eight-light chandelier in cast bronze, dating from the 1930’s and featuring a double-headed eagle. This Colonial Revival chandelier begins with an acanthus loop finial atop a splendid two-headed eagle with outspread wings. Below, the chandelier features a baluster-shaped body ending in a large bronze orb with a foliate loop. Eight S-curved chandelier arms extend from the center of the chandelier, ornamented with volutes and wing-like acanthus leaves. Each arm ends in a simple bobeche with a stepped wax pan. This six-light “wedding cake” chandelier begins with a beautifully ornamented canopy, coming down in a chain to a finely cast loop finial with flowers, volutes, and acanthus. The finial connects to a baluster ornamented with roses in an urn, with acanthus leaves. The chandelier body is ornamented with a laurel garland. Below, the chandelier continues in nine tiers of sparkling icicle prisms, and is finished in a faceted crystal ball. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This is a fantastic pair of antique exterior wall-mount lanterns with slag glass, dating from the 1920’s. These exterior sconces have a rectangular cast iron backplate with an arrow border; a squared arm supports a lantern with a steeply sloped roof. The four-sided roof features triangular copper vents. Each side of the lantern is ornamented with a whimsical copper urn reminiscent of Aladdin’s lamp, ornamented with a vine design, with a slag glass background. These wall lamps are in excellent condition, and the glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The porch lights have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 10 ¾” tall, 4 3/8” wide, and projects 8 ½” from the wall. For Auction is a beautiful Reverse Painted Table Lamp made by The Pittsburgh Lamp and Brass Company of Pittsburgh, PA. The shade blank is done in the Chipped Ice or Glue Chip method with both Obverse and Reverse Painting on it. The Table Lamp Stands 21 1/2" tall and the Shade has a diameter of 16". The Shade displays a very vibrant and colorful what some collectors call a "Fire and Ice" Daytime Winter Scene. The colors are just wonderful as there is a beautiful Teal/ Blue for the Sky with Brilliant Yellows, Greens, Browns, and lots of Rosy Lilac background blended into the sky. The Winter Scenic appears to be an early morning one with the Sun Rising amongst a fresh snow. You can see newly fallen snow on the Pine Trees. There are Mountains Peaks in the back ground and foreground. The Shade sits on a 2 Light mixed metal base with an excellent original patina. The style of the vase is what I believe to be an Artichoke. The design on the foot's outer edges as well as the leaves at the top of the column just below the cluster tell me this. There are two original ball pull chain sockets that are in excellent working order. The patina is a Green over deep brown/black and is considered a 9 out of a 10 for quality level. The Table Lamp is in excellent condition and I must make this statement, "This is probably the nicest 100% Original Pittsburgh Reverse Painted Lamp I have ever owned". The condition of the Shade and Base is outstanding for nearly 85 years of use. You simply do not find these like this one anymore. Everything is original except for the antique style brown rayon cord, even the plug is original. The shade has no chips or dings and the base shows minor wear. The lamp has no signature on it but it is a documented lamp in "The Better Electric Lamps Book of the 20's and 30's ". This is clearly a Pittsburgh Table Lamp 100% and not a Marriage!!. Purchase with confidence as these Reverse Painted Lamps are much more affordable than The Handel and Pairpoint Lamps. They are a worthy Investment that has risen steadily for the past 30 years. I'm quite sure the Buyer will be quite pleased with their purchase.   « Less

A striking antique Arts and Crafts six-light chandelier with its original amber glass, circa 1905. This chandelier begins with a hammered canopy with a waved border, coming down in a twisted, hammered pole to the large, drum-shaped chandelier body. The body features a hand-riveted framework with spike and stylized fleur-de-lis, filled with textured amber glass. Crossed bands run across the bottom of the chandelier, intersecting in the center to support the bottom piece of glass. The chandelier finishes in a large twisted teardrop finial with a spike at the bottom.
