A lovely rare pair of blown glass candlesticks with a lot of work into them!
Bases are pattern molded, blown in a ribbed mold then turned to create a swirl effect. Candle cups are blown separately and applied to the bases with the rims expanded and crimped all around and handles applied. Rough pontil scars to bases and lots of small bubbles in glass. Each is about 5 ½†tall x 4†wide. Most probably made during the 1950’s at one of the Virginia glass houses such as Rainbow. Both perfect! Rare pair! « Less

Gorgeous large (just over 12.5†tall and weighs about 4 ½ pounds) Nash designed blown glass pitcher with vibrant pink threading within the glass all around, pattern molded (ribed), beautifully applied handle with rigaree loops at end and clearly signed (acid etched) “Libbey†within the recess of the polished pontil on base. One of the nicest Libbey / Nash pieces you will ever see, and did we say LARGE? Centerpiece for any early 20th century glass collection.
Perfect, museum worthy, condition!!!

Here we have a superb very heavy, crystal pitcher made in Germany by the Seiegelau glass company. Very elegant form, perfect crystal clear glass blown pitcher with applied handle, weighs about 4 pounds. The Spiegelau etched mark of a backwards “S†beneath a crown appears on the base. The glassworks is nestled in a small Bavarian town bearing the company's name. Spiegelau has been making glassware for nearly 500 years. Very handsome, high quality blown glass pitcher! About 8 ¾†tall.
