We have for sale a very nice pair of aladdin alacite lamps. The lamps are electric and are in working condition. They are of the art deco style from the 20's. They are in good condition with a small chip on the underneath side on the bottom of the foot. Aladdin in embrossed on the underneath side. We have pictures of this. This item is a beautiful electric lamp with a very nice brass and marble base, and crystal stem. On the bottom, it is labeled " Artistic Lamp Mfg. Co. NYC." It has a clear globe with a flame-shaped bulb. The crystal stem has a beautiful cut design and looks great on the white and gray marble. There is ornate brass at the top and bottom, which really sets off the crystal. The lamp is in excellent condition. It measures 23 1/4" in height, 7" in diameter, and weighs 5 pounds. The base (without the bulb) is 16 3/4" in height, and 5 1/2" in diameter. The shade is 7 5/8" tall and 7" in diameter. We are not sure of the exact age. Ultimate Antique Harem Orientalist Vienna Bronze Lamp impressed Austria on the tent pole. The lamp depicts a semi nude lady reclining smoking a cigar and being offered treats by one of her attendants while the other Nubian attendant holds a long fan ready to fan the lady if requested. This model was sold at Christie's New York on April 12, 2007 lot # 36 for $57,500 in their 19th Century European and Orientalist Art Sale. The picture from the catalog is included with our pictures. You can see that even without its original base and the fan in the Nubian attendants hand broken off it realized $57,500. To see another complete example view our friend Joe Zobel's book on Antique Vienna Bronzes. He has the same model on the original black and gold marble base and the Nubian attendants fan intact like ours pictured on page 191. This model measures 15-1/2 inches tall. The base is 9-1/2 wide by 8-1/4 inches deep by 1 inch high. Weight 22 pounds. This is a superb example in excellent condition of the most sought after and desirable Antique Orientalist Vienna Bronze Lamps. Due to a very fortunate purchase we can offer this beautiful superb condition example for half the price that an incomplete lamp sold for at auction in New York more than 2 years ago. Now available is this beautiful pair of candelabras with prisms, that is in very good condition. These pieces have wonderful details, with a nice twisted stem, scrolled arms, and a scalloped base. Each one has six prisms. One candelabra has a crack across the top, which we have shown in the photographs. The lines across the bottom near the base are not cracks, but part of the glass. One candelabra is 8 5/8" in height, and the other is 8 1/2" in height, both are 4 3/4" in diameter, and weighs 2 pounds. Total weight for the pair is 4 pounds.
