To the front it has satinwood marquetry inlay, with two cupboards below. It also has the original mirror to the back, and comes in three parts.

This is a very interesting piece of furniture. We call it a metamorphic server. The reason why it’s called as such is that because it’s not only a server, but also it’s an office piece of furniture. It was made possibly in Germany circa 1880.the quality is really excellent. The center top of the server lifts up and converts to a writing desk. A very nice mahogany dining table made in England circa 1900. There are 4 center leafs, this table will seat at least 12 people, when it closed its completely round. lts sits on square tapered legs, with brass Castor's to the bottom.
l would say 2 of the leafs for the center have been made at a later time, they look original but this is my guess.
