Published by Currier & Ives, 152 Nassau Street, NY, between 1867 and 1872, this small folio print, “Rabbit Catching/The Trap Sprung,” is a lithograph with hand coloring on paper. It is Conningham 5034. The image size is 7 15/16” x 12 ½”. Margins are over 1 3/8”. It has a scattering of minor staining and fox marks. There is a vertical crease on the extreme left of the image. There are nicks on the margin under the frame and light annotations on the reverse. It is framed in a chip carved period frame with acid-free backing. This print is ex Borroughs collection. Our father was a collector of Currier & Ives and this truly beautiful print is from his estate collection. It would be an outstanding addition to anyone’s home.   « Less

For sale is a beautifully framed pair of Cameo portrait busts of English Royalty by F. Brouchard. I am not sure who they are but the male appears to be in his uniform while his female companion appears to be finely dressed. Approximately 4" x 5" WITHOUT the frame. WITH the frame it measures 5 3/4" x 6 1/2". The male is signed F. Brouchard. This lovely piece was sold at the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd. Their Showrooms were at 112 Regent Street, London. w. The company dealt in fine jewelry and goods and have the Royal Warrant. Very good condition.   « Less
