This is a superb pair of antique double-arm Adam sconces, circa 1915, in their original silver plate over brass. The sconces feature a fluted, urn shaped backplate crowned with an acorn finial and acanthus leaves, with Greek key handles on either side of the urn. Two S-curved sconce arms extend from the backplate to support leaf-and-dart cutout bobeches. The backplate finishes in acanthus and a cluster of grapes. These Neoclassical wall lamps are in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This is an attractive pair of antique double-arm Neoclassical sconces, dating from the 1920’s, in their original silver plate over brass. Each sconce features a shield-shaped backplate crowned with an urn of flowers, with volutes and bellflower garlands below. A semicircular arm receiver bowl curves across the middle of the sconce, ornamented with acanthus leaves and a dangling tassel. A pair of smooth, silver plated arms extends from the arm receiver bowl, each supporting a gadrooned wax pan and a leaf-and-dart bobeche. This is a delightful antique cast iron five-light chandelier in its original polychrome finish, dating from the 1920’s. This chandelier begins with a canopy ornamented with green and red crests, coming down in a chain to an arrow-shaped loop finial. Below, a small reeded column flanked with green polychrome leaves supports the chandelier body. The chandelier body is accented with green and gold leaves, with polychrome crests below. Each arm supports a foliate bobeche with a leafy finial below; between each arm is a blue anthemion. Hammered volutes extend downward from the chandelier, converging in a cluster of green leaves finished in a finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This is a splendid pair of antique Tudor single-arm sconces with their original snuffer shades, dating from the 1920’s. The sconces feature a hammered backplate with a striking shape. The shade features a hammered volute loop at the top, and a crimped border below; the shade is supported by the sconce arm, which runs from the top of the sconce to the bottom, fastened with two hammered brackets to the backplate. The arm comes outward in an L shape to hold the bobeche, which has a waved edge and a spike finial underneath. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This is a beautiful pair of antique double-arm sconces, dating from the 1920’s, in their original silver plate over pewter. Made and signed by Lincoln Company, the sconces are crowned with silver plated floral and foliate detail, with a sunburst adorning the backplate. Leaf and volute detail at the bottom of each sconce blends into a sconce arm, which supports a beautifully detailed bobeche ornamented with flowers and leaves. Above each light is a shade formed of icicle prisms, hanging from a ring ornamented with the same decorative detail found on the bobeche. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired.
