Beautiful antique 800 silver gilt enamel compact. The top of the compact has a beautiful enamel painting of a lady and a gentleman in a landscape setting with a lamb and flowers. The enamel work is very high quality. Overall excellent condition showing normal wear from age and use. The interior of the box above the mirror is hallmarked with a bird, 800, and a maker's mark. The compact measures 3 inches wide, 2 inches deep, and 3/8 inch high. Weight 87.9 grams. The compact has its original beveled mirror. It opens great and closes tightly. It has a thumbnail lip at the bottom to grip the box as you lift the top open. Enamel compacts of this quality don't show up very often, this is an exceptional one guaranteed to please the most particular compact or miniature box collector. (Item #72580)   « Less

Lovely antique gilt lined Guilloche blue enamel lady's compact. It is marked 935 on the ring, indicating 93.5% pure silver. The enameling is excellent on the top portion, on the bottom there is a miniscule enamel loss at the very bottom measuring 1/4 inch long by 1/16 inch high. Still a lovely piece in almost excellent condition. The compact measures 1-3/4 inches wide, 2 inches high from the top of the ring to the bottom of the compact and weighs 24.4 grams.
