A beautiful and rare example of a Worcester Mask Head or Cabbage Leaf jug printed in black and painted in colours with scenes of the Rural Lovers, Milking Scene No 1 and May Day. The bearded mask picked out in colours with floral sprays adorning the neck. The painted scenes are clear with no wear. There is professional restoration to a crack running down past the handle. A delightful Worcester sparrow beak jug decorated in the printed underglazed blue Fence pattern. A nice clear print with no blurring and in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. There is a little roughness to the footrim base and a few minute nibbles to the ends of the petals. A fine small little jug complete with its lid. Marked with the Worcester hatched crescent to the base. The jug measures 10cms high and 12 cms overall including the lid. A fine C 1770 Worcester sucrier together with its cover, beautifully gilded and decorated with festoons of husks and pattera. The gilding is without any wear at all. The gilding is as bright and vibrant today as when first applied 240 years ago. Apart from one small chip to the edge of the cover there is no other damage or restoration. A rare Caughley miniature teapot handpainted with the island pattern. They are a real delight to study and hold. This little teapot has suffered a little during its life. There is a fine spiralling body crack which appears old and is quite possibly a result of thermal fracture, also a small section of the lid inner rim missing. This is a fine example that deserves to have survived and still displays beautifully. Marked with the printed Salopian 'S'. Measures 7.5 cms high overall. A fine 1903 Royal Crown Derby demitasse coffee set in the original satin lined presentation box. The Derby Imari pattern is 2712. In first class condition throughout. I very much doubt it has ever been used. The exterior of the box is a little worn in places but overall in remarkable condition. All pieces are marked with the Royal Crown Derby marks and year cypher for 1903. Cups measure 5 cms high. Saucers measure 10.7 cms diameter. Antique registered french chrome coffee service for 5. Coffee urn, creamer, sugar bowl, five cups and five saucers. Markings are M Z Austria depose ff. Coffee urn, sugar bowl and creamer are insulated w M Z Austria porcelain. See marking on pic 6. M Z Austria is Moritz Zdkauer of Altrolaus Bohemia Germany. This particular makers mark was in use from 1909 - 1918. The notation of "depose ff" is registered French. Coffee mugs are mercury glass lined. Also typical German, and from bottom of mugs it does show double wall silver nitrate method for mercury glass typical of the period. Saucers are complete chrome silver. All pieces are in excellent condition with only very minor age appropriate wear. Coffee urn is 9.5" tall and 7' wide at widest point and holds 5 cups easily. Sugar bowl is 3" X 4.5", creamer is 2.5" X 4.5", coffee cups are 3.5" X 3". This information researched from various websites, available if you wish.   « Less
