This is a splendid antique brass four-light chandelier, originally half gas and half electric, and now completely wired for electricity. Dating from the late 19th Century, the chandelier begins with a square canopy, and comes down in a squared rod to a four-side brass bowl. Below, the two chandelier arms extend straight out to either side, with a square bobeche on top of each arm and a shade holder below. Each shade holder supports a wonderful, four-sided amber shade. This light fixture is in excellent condition. The shades are also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 15 5/8” wide, 4” deep, and 12” tall to the tops of the candle covers; the fixture is 39 ¾” long overall. NC752-RW   « Less

This is a wonderful antique three-light brass chandelier, made and signed by R. Williamson & Co. of Chicago. This pan light begins with a volute loop finial atop a sleek brass body. Three arms, formed of acanthus leaves, support smooth shade holders with gorgeous shades ornamented with a lattice design and scalloped edges. The shades are patent dated 1908. A charming acorn finial finishes the chandelier. This light fixture is in excellent condition, and the shades are also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Pulley chain is in Great Working Condition. Simply hold onto both sides of oil lamp and pull downward and it glides down very smoothly with ease. To raise the pulley chain back up simply again hold onto both sides of lamp and gently push up. Hanging Lead crystals are quite beautiful. Milk glass painted lamp shade is in Great Condition. The chandelier begins with a finely cast brass palmette, with an elegant tassel below. Five cast iron chandelier arms extend from the base of the tassel, intersecting with a large iron ring that runs around the outer portion of the chandelier. Each arm supports a sleek Art Deco shade holder with a custard shade. Each shade is bordered in a stylized garland pattern. Below, five iron bands fasten to the bottom of the finial with green polychrome florets, coming down to an inverted dome-shaped chandelier body and curving back up to form the arms. Each arm supports a gilt bobeche with bead-and-reel detail, a foliate border, and a finial. The dome below features a green bead-and-reel pattern and a finely cast gilded finial. This is a handsome antique iron Spanish Revival five-light chandelier, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a canopy swathed in acanthus leaves, and comes down in a chain to a foliate loop finial. Below, five wrought iron bands are fastened to the chandelier with small florets, coming out at an angle and back in to form unusual chandelier arms. Each arm is ornamented with a floret and supports a cutout foliate bobeche. The chandelier finishes in a dangling cast iron finial formed of a cluster of grapes. This is a striking antique Art Deco figural chandelier with an eagle, dating from the 1920’s. Made of darkened nickel and brass, this five-light chandelier is crowned with a cast brass eagle with its wings outspread, followed by a nickel baluster-shaped chandelier body. Hammered brass arches, ornamented with arrows, come down from the baluster to support the chandelier arms, which fan out from the chandelier in a star shape. Each arm supports a nickel bobeche with a cutout border. The chandelier finishes in a finely cast brass finial, formed of an arrow surrounded by a laurel wreath. This is a fabulous antique five-light Spanish Revival chandelier, made of iron and brass and dating from the 1920’s. The fixture begins with a beautifully cast loop finial flanked by florets on twisted stems. A baluster with stylized leaf detail runs down the center of the chandelier, surrounded by iron bands fastened with florets. The bands are connected by five ornamental brass pieces featuring stylized foliate detail, twists, and a fleur-de-lis at each corner. Below, the bands flare out into chandelier arms, each with a sleek brass bobeche finished below with a foliate finial. The chandelier finishes in a charming finial ornamented with a flower and leaves, with a twisted border on either side.
