This is a superb antique iron and bronze lantern, dating from the early 1900’s and made of iron and bronze with clear granite glass. This large four-light pendant begins with a canopy featuring a waved border, and comes down in a chain to a magnificent bronze trefoil. Below, curled iron bands come down to support the lantern, which is ornamented with foliate cutouts and florets. Four twisted iron bands, fastened with floret buttons at the top and bottom, run down each side of the lantern. The bottom of the lantern finishes in a bronze finial surrounded by a cluster of leaves. The chandelier is in excellent condition, and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The fixture has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The lantern body is 14 ½” wide and 50” long; the fixture is 77 ½” long overall. This is a magnificent pair of antique Art Deco exterior sconces, dating from the 1920’s and made of copper. These large wall-mount lanterns are crowned with a steeple finial atop a hexagonal roof, and feature a bold ziggurat shape with stepped white glass panels bordered in black. Each sconce has a long six-sided backplate, and has a hinged door in the side to facilitate changing the bulbs. These wall lamps are in good antique condition with some minor dents throughout (see photos). The glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The lanterns have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 32” tall, 13” wide, and projects 15 ¼” from the wall. This is a very unusual pair of antique cast bronze double-arm sconces, dating from the early 1900’s. The sconces begin with a triad of three-dimensional flowers, beautifully crafted from clear and amethyst crystal prisms on bronze stems, and springing from a bronze urn at the top of the backplate. The flowers are repeated with a second cluster halfway down the backplate. The cast bronze backplate features an elegant shape and a gorgeous patina. A pair of vine-like arms extends from the base of the backplate. Between the arms is a crystal flower, which is draped with faceted beads connecting to a corresponding flower on each bobeche. Each swag is ornamented with an unusual purple bead ornamented with small florets. A large, smooth teardrop accents each arm, connected by an additional beaded swag. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired. The sconces are 14” tall, 9 ½” wide, and project 4” from the wall. NSP464-RW   « Less

These exterior sconces feature a round copper backplate, with an arm extending from the center and curving up into a hook. The lantern features a sloped round roof, with the original amber glass cylinder below, finished in a copper border at the bottom. These wall lamps are in excellent condition, and the glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. This is a delightful antique three-light semi-flush mount chandelier from the 1920’s, made and signed by Moe-Bridges, with its original polychrome finish. The chandelier begins with a simple canopy; below is a bowl ornamented with blue and red foliate detail, with a larger matching bowl below. Three reeded arms extend from the underside of the lower bowl, supporting elegant foliate bobeches with subtle red and blue highlights. Between each arm is an “icicle” prism accented with an amber bead; a strand of beads hangs from the center of the chandelier, finishing in a smooth glass ball. This is a captivating antique Spanish Revival iron five-light chandelier from the 1920’s, in its original polychrome finish. This figural chandelier features five knights in armor, and has a fabulous crackled finish. The chandelier begins with a canopy overlaid with stylized foliate detail, and comes down in a chain to a beaded loop finial accented with florets and volutes. Below, a leafy crown is followed by bright polychrome florets that fasten iron bands to the chandelier body. The band are connected by knights, each flanked with volute detail and accented below with a red and blue shield. The chandelier arms curl back to support crenellated bobeches encircled with red rope detail, and the chandelier finishes in a dangling polychrome finial.
