French iron Goose neck folding Empire chairs c1900. This pair of French Empire Goose neck chairs are a decorators delight. They are not only strong but they are comfortable as well. Excellent original condition with bronze claw feet,arm rings and goose head and neck backs. Each chair measures 36 inches to the top of their back,15 and one half inches wide,18 and one half inches to the top of the seats and 14 and one half inches deep Both of these chairs can fold up for easy storage.This piece is on display in our gallery at Clock TowerAntiques Center and can be seen in-person by visiting 824 E Main Street Branford,CT06405. Antique American Sheraton drop leaf table. This period American Sheraton table dates from 1825 to 1835 and has the most beautiful top board and twist legs. The top is made from a single mahogany board that measures 38 inches wide by 21 and one half inches deep. The table has two 10 and three quarter inches leaves and is 29 and one half inches high. Mid-century modern chair designed by Norwegian Tormod Alnaes (1921-2003). This elegant chair is made of rosewood on an aluminum frame with black leather upholstery. Stylish modern design. Very good condition save for a 1 inch tear in the leather seat that would need repair and just minor scratches on the wood and frame. Tormod S. Alnæs (1921 - 2003 ), Interior Architect at the Ncad in Oslo, Norway. He was a professor at the same college. His furniture designs have been represented at the triennial in Milan, at world expositions in Brussels, New York and Montréal as well as in different European cities. Mr. Alnæs also received different diplomas of honour for good designs. 12 of his products received rewards in design competitions. Measures about 30 inches high x 28 inches wide x 29 inches deep. Second compartment offers hooks and a rod for hanging garments. Highest quality construction, with all brass hardware and original keys. This piece was brought back from Europe and is well over 100 years old. I have also included a photo of a crude signature located on the back of the mirror panel.
