This is a wonderful pair of antique cast bronze double-arm Arts & Crafts sconces with shades, circa 1905. Each sconce features a rectangular, cast bronze backplate with beveled edges. A squared arm extends from the center of the backplate, supporting a squared double arm that supports two shade holders, each ornamented with a quartet of bronze bands. These would be a superb addition to any Craftsman bungalow. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with no breaks or cracks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The sconces have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 9 ½” tall, 11” wide, and project 5 ½” from the wall. This is a fascinating antique lantern-style six-light chandelier in its original silver plate, dating from the early 1900’s. This Neoclassical chandelier shows some Gothic Revival influence, beginning with a trefoil loop finial. Below, five curled silver bands form the elongated chandelier body. The bands are connected by beautifully cast volute motifs, which are detailed both on the inside and outside of the chandelier. Each band curls up at the bottom, supporting a finely detailed foliate bobeche. A silver plated leaf occupies the space between each arm. This light fixture is in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation.
