This is a superb antique four-tiered Neoclassical chandelier with its original prisms, dating from the 1920’s. This three-light “wedding cake” chandelier begins with a gadrooned canopy with volute detail, coming down in a chain to an intricate loop finial with volutes and feathery leaf detail. Intricately detailed bands support the chandelier body, which is ornamented with lattice detail interspersed with volute wreaths that encircle dangling teardrop prisms. Below, the chandelier continues in four tiers of sparkling “icicle” prisms, and is finished in a faceted crystal ball. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This hexagonal lantern begins with a simple loop finial atop a brass roof, with intricate volute and foliate detail below. A bead-and-reel pattern runs down the edges of the panels, and the underside of the lantern is finished in a dangling tassel finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition, and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. This is a charming antique five-light chandelier, dating from the 1920’s, in its original polychrome finish. The chandelier begins with a gorgeous canopy ornamented with red and gold foliate appliqués, and comes down in a chain to a loop finial ornamented with polychrome leaves, beads, and florets. Hammered bands form the body of the chandelier, fastened with red and yellow florets. Each chandelier arm ends in a curl, supporting a simple bobeche. The chandelier finishes in a polychrome finial. It does have one candle sleeve that has a piece missing out of the top.
