The hands and fingers are fully articulated despite the fact they are the size of a pin head. Such detail is never seen a a piece this size. Measures 1.7'' across and 1.25'' tall. Stunning example circa 1880 and probably French or American in origin. Replaced pin back with more modern safety catch. Fabulous piece in very good condition. Enclosed within the brooch is 3 shell cameos and gold leaves tying them all together. A most unusual and rare cameo the likes of which I''ve never seen. About 2 1/2'' wide and 2 1/4'' tall. fantastic piece circa 1890 and in very good condition. Pendant backing is not gold and has minor corrosion other than that excellent condition. A magnificent multiple dual cameos pin entwined by a snake or serpent, with a dual panels of scenes from Greek mythology, showing Hebe, Goddess of Youth, feeding Jupiter (disguised as an eagle) with Ambrosia, the nectar of eternal youth. Hebe, or Juventas in Latin, was the cup bearer to the Gods, responsible for feeding them ''Heavens Wine'' to provide immortality. The pin is of outstanding quality, and is heavy and has a pleasing feel. Almost 4'' high is is exceedingly rare to find multiple cameo pieces and the bright cut gilt snake makes it all the more rare.
