A splendid pair of antique brass three-arm sconces, circa 1920, with glass shades and darkened nickel accents. These heavy sconces feature a square backplate with an arm that supports a large central column with a two-tone foliate finial at the top. Three arms, each supported by cutout brackets, extend from the column to support round glass globes. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. A wonderful pair of antique double-arm figural sconces with dolphins and fleur-de-lis, dating from the 1930’s, in their original polychrome finish. Each sconce features a volute design at the top with red and green polychrome accents; the backplate has a hammered center with green leaves below. A large fleur-de-lis connects the arms to the backplate. Each arm features a stylized dolphin’s head, connecting to a foliate bobeche with a green fleur-de-lis below. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. Fantastic antique Tudor single-arm sconce, dating from the 1920s. This sconce begins with a crenellated upper backplate which moves down to a circular center, tapering off in the lower portion. The backplate features a fabulous hammered texture throughout. Reaching out from the round disc is the sconce arm, which has a crenellated bobeche and extends down in a twisted spear.
