Circa 1840 Chinese Export Rose Mandarin Chocolate or Coffee Pot measuring 9 1/2" in height. This piece is a very unusual shape and form and has been decorated in the rose mandarin and rose medallion scene. I believe that this was a French Limoge blank that was sent to China to be decorated. That is why we have never seen this rose medallion or rose mandarin form in Chinese Export Porcelain. I do believe it is a chocolate pot though and not a coffee pot. It has chinese marks on the base of the pot. The spout had a chip that has been professionally restored. « Less

Circa 1820-1840 Chinese Export Rare Nanking in Blue Cider Jug with Original Cover. Nicely applied woven double strapped handles with splotching. Nice blue color. Nanking was made for the English Market. Some people confuse the blue and white especially nanking and canton. The easiest way to distinguish the two are as follows: Nanking has a person on the bridge and Canton has no one on the bridge. This jug is very well painted scenes with a bird, pagodas and a boat in the water bearing a flag and a oriental figure. 10" in height and 6" in diameter. No chips, cracks or any other imperfections or Restoration. « Less

Circa 1820-1840 Chinese Export Large Blue Canton Water Pitcher measuring 7" in height. Fresh out of a North Shore Estate along with a Platter. This is one of the tallest pitchers that we have had. Usually you see ones that are 4"-5" in height. They came in about 8 sizes and my dream is to own a complete set. This pitcher is in Very Good Condition with only some minor fritting around the edges of the top from probably years of use. A firing mark on the bottom rim of the base. The height to the top of the handle is 7 1/2" and spout to back of handle measures 10 1/4". Excellent Condition in a nice medium blue color. The bottom of the base measures 5 1/8" « Less
