Double ended Victorian scent bottle of faceted ruby colored glass with gold filled, foliate engraved metal end caps. The bottle is divided at the midpoint to form two separate scent vials. One end has a cap that opens with a button and hinge, while the other has a screw cap of similar appearance. Engraved initial 'B' on caps. Circa 1880s. Unmarked, but probably English. No internal stopper. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks or dents (one cap fitting is slightly loose). Size: 5" length. « Less

Not having found a similar example, I do not know if this mustard pot is American, English or Continental. The glass body, with its design of stylized scallop shells, is formed in a three-part mould, and the hinged pewter top is of good weight and secure. It probably dates from the mid-Nineteenth Century and is about four inches tall, 2-1/2 inches in diameter, with a stemmed base about 1-3/4 inches in diameter. « Less

Tall and glamorous, this finely crafted glass overlay vase is a real tour de force. The underlying white glass layer lends a varied luster to the turquoise blue, rather like ancient Persian glazes. The tall-necked baluster form of the piece and the intricate palmate and dotted designs enameled on the surface, echo this appeal to Orientalism. There is a hallmark that I have not deciphered, a script letter "A" in an artist's palette. English or Continental, circa 1880. Condition is almost mint, except for some wear to the slight gilded areas. Approximately 11 inches tall by 6-1/2 inches in diameter. Very stunning. « Less

A rare and unusual Stourbridge Victorian art glass epergne, This model has 5 fluted tulips with two glass canes with hanging baskets. The condition is excellent, the glass appears to be clear however, when photographing it, there is a definite vaseline tint to the glass, & rigoree, all the glass is trimmed in an unusual blue. In collecting these for over 20 years, I have not seen one with 5 flutes, nor a blue one. 20 inches tall and 16 inches wide. « Less
