It has a dusty rose to pink field with eight wreaths of flowering vines and scattered flower blossoms with flitting bats moving through the field. It has a dark rose to pale red field with so much going on it I can hardly describe it. The lower right corner has a cluster of houses in the mountains. The lower left has a flowering tree in two shades of yellow two shades of blue purple gold and green with a beautifully drawn bird in the branches and a butterfly coming in for some nectar. Above that is a man fishing from a boat near a waterfall across the field of the rug from a man in a sailboat all beneath a sky strewn with flowers. This is all surrounded by a light gray border with flowers houses rocks and water scenes. The rug has very good pile. The rug is clean and ready to go.   « Less

This is an unfinished project from long ago. The person completed the needlework, but never cut it out and finished making it into a pillow. The finished dimensions would be 20.5 inches by 16 inches. The overall size is 43.5 inches by 17 inches. So, you can finish the piece with a linen back, or use some other fabric and have another piece of vintage linen to work on. The design is Chinese Art Deco in flair with embroidered stylized pansy type flowers. It is marked ''No. 230 PILLOW JBK TRADEMARK S-32'' '' ALSO MADE IN SCARF, CENTER, AND BUFFET SET TO MATCH''. The condition is very good, with no holes, but does have some spotting and toning. This has not been washed. Bungalow Bill Doesn''t know about washing vintage linens.
