The rich, honey gold shade of Cambridge's amber color is guite beautiful, particularly on this #782 vase, which is enhanced with the #736 etching. This etch focuses on a peacock or Asiatic pheasant resting amidst a bower of trailing flowers. It was introduced circa 1927 and discontinued before 1939.Measuring approximately 8 3/4" in height, the vase flares to 6" in diameter at the rim, giving it the appearance of being even larger than it is. In extremely good condition, the vase does show some very minimal signs of usage, but there are no chips, nicks, cracks or major scratches and has no signs of water residue. « Less

American is, without a doubt, Fostoria's most collected and well known pattern. Presented here are a pair of their #2056, bell shaped duo candlesticks. These were produced from around 1936 to 1958 and are somewhat hard to find. The candlesticks are 6 1/2" in height with a base diameter of 4 1/2" and an arm spread of 8 1/4". Both of these pieces are in excellent condition...free of chips, cracks or discoloration. There is a minor manufacturer's flaw in the form of a bit of "extra glass" on the rim point of one of the candle cups, but this is certainly not detrimental to the overall look or condition of the candlestick and is being mentioned solely for accuracy. « Less

From the 1870's, I am pleased to be offering this VERY hard to find low footed, covered compote. This beautiful piece was produced by Richards & Hartley circa the 1870's and features a lovely pattern of what appears to be lily of the valley flowers. Recent research and the discovery of Richards & Hartley original catalog sheets have revealed that the original manufacturer's name for this pattern is actually "MAYFLOWER".A nice large piece, the compote measures approximately 8 1/2" in diameter and 9" in height. In considering the "test of time", I would say the compote is in very good condition. There are some minor usage marks, which are to be expected, and a couple of very small chips on the inner rim of the lid, but none of these are major or extremely visible. And the minor imperfections certainly do nothing to distract from the overall beauty of this wonderful piece of EAPG. A real treasure. If you will check out all of the pics, you will see scans from the 1870's catalog featuring this lovely pattern. « Less

This is a great sized candy box, a bit larger than some I've seen. Produced by Cambridge Glass and featuring their Chantilly etch, this pretty piece measures 7" in diameter and is 5" in height with the lid seated. The lid is highlighted with a sterling silver knob finial. The piece overall is in very good condition. It is free of any nicks, chips or cracks. There is a small ding to the silver finial and an open inclusion, or "bubble pop" on the underside of the lid. This is not a chip, but something that occurred during the manufacturing process. This item has been priced commensurate with the minor imperfections, but it is still a stunning piece. « Less

Seneca's #600 etch, "Scroll", appears in a catalog circa the the 1910's, but I'm not certain as to how long the pattern was produced. It is shown here on this great tankard / pitcher and four matching tumblers. The pitcher is approximately 9 1/8" in height while the tumblers measure 3 5/8". The glass of these pieces is wonderfully clear and the etching is clean and crisp. There are a couple of the tumblers that have just a tad bit of roughness on the rim, but other than that, everything is in great condition. Really a lovely set. « Less
