What an unusual and interesting piece this is! Produced by Consolidated Glass from 1927 to the 1940's, I am pleased to be offering this hard to find Catalonian nasturtium vase. Also called Old Spanish, the bulbous vase with its four openings is in excellent condition. This handmade, blown glass piece has a rough pontil and measures approximately 6 1/2" at the widest points and 4 1/4" in height. The color is Consolidated's emerald green...very bright and vibrant. Though it is primarily considered to be elegant, depression era glassware, this piece would also appeal to the art glass afficionado. Very cool! « Less

What a treat it was for me to come across this little jewel. In the years that I've been collecting glassware, I believe that this is the first Tiffin cruet I've seen.Presented for your consideration is this #179 oil with the lovely Thistle etching. This pattern was produced by Tiffin from 1920 to 1934.The cruet measures approximately 6 1/4" in height with the stopper in place and should have a capacity of about 3 1/2 ounces. It is in excellent condition...free of nicks, chips or cracks. There is some slight "scratching" where the stopper fits, but that is pretty much the norm with these pieces. Really a beautiful and hard to find piece. « Less

Not only do I find Heisey's #451 etch, Lafayette, one of their most interesting designs, I absolutely love the Carcassonne blank showcasing the etch.Lafayette features several different images associated with Colonial times and was produced from 1930 to 1937. The #3390 Carcassonne blank has a nice, large bowl, wafered stem and unique squared foot. The set of eight water goblets shown here have the taller of the stems produced in this line. They are approximately 6 3/8" in height and have an 11 ounce capacity. All of the goblets are in excellent condition with the exception of one which has a couple of very minor flea bites on the rim. I'm sure the one could be easily repaired if so chosen. This pattern is not readily found. The size and lower profile of these goblets make them ideal not only for water but for iced tea as well. « Less
