These exceptional reticulated wall shelves are true examples of the fine artisanship of the Carl Thieme’s Saxonian Porcelain Factory in Freital Germany. Bearing the blue "SP Dresden" trademark, that guarantees the authenticity of Dresden porcelain, Carl Thieme porcelain is highly respected among Dresden porcelain manufacturers. Produced between 1945 and 1972, each shelf is decorated in the rococo-revival style which is characterized by its generous display of pastel colored flowers and extraordinary hand-painted features. The shelves feature gold gilding on the shelf edges and reticulated areas. Beautiful full-bodied cherubs and 3D flowers grace the bottom of each shelf. The top of the shelves feature lovely bunches of flowers in various pastel colors. In mint condition, there are no chips, cracks or rubbed areas and the colors are not faded!
