Restored Vintage Mid Century Modern Gothic or Arts and Crafts Style Panel Ceiling or Wall Lights We have FOUR of these lights at this time, and will sell as many as you like until gone. Produced in the 1950s-60s or so, these are older fixtures made very strongly indeed. Since they need rewiring, we are offering them with a choice of lighting types. Neat thing is that they can be used either as wall sconces or close ceiling fixtures. The frosted rustic glass panels are in great shape. The rough-look finished frame is in nice condition with just the right amount of patina. Measurements: * Dimensions: 22 ½" long x 8" wide. * Projection: 7 ½" from the ceiling or wall. A full mounting kit will be supplied. The very bottom is also designed as an access door that opens for bulb changing, as shown in the pictures. Nice quality door, with a strong slide bolt for locking...really much better quality than what is made on the market today. It has old glass, and is simply RUSTIC and charming. These fixtures will be re-wired in our UL shop, and will be ready for installation for whichever type of lighting type that you choose. We re-wired one with each type of lighting for display. Mid Century Modern Fredrick Ramond Brass, Lucite, and Etched Glass Ceiling Chandelier Light Fixture This design is circa the 1970s, and finally copyrighted in 1985. This example could be considered top-of-the-line for this type of fixture. The chrome plating alone is a fantastic option. We even have the original merchandise tag that came with the lamp...it is in that good of condition and pride of ownership. A few finishes were available, but this is the only one with peach-colored corners and top notch that we have seen. Chandelier is also marked on one of the struts with the impressed mark of Fredrick Ramond. This should continue to increase in value as the Mid Century Modern design continues to be popular, and poorer examples are offered. While there are cheaper and less deluxe models selling now...and cheaper versions were made even then...this was the cream of the crop. Adaptation of Vintage 1940s Petroleum Club Mid Century Modern Chandelier with 10 Lights and Bowl Shade Exciting adaptation of a Mid-Century Modern Romanesque fixture to gas-look shades and leaded glass bowl below. While the top rim has a great grouping of 6 gas style ball shades, the leaded glass bowl below has a cluster of four sockets within it. All in all...a ten light chandelier. This marvelous 46" diameter chandelier was inspired by original chandeliers from the Petroleum Club in Houston, Texas. We bought the double-tier dining room chandeliers at auction from the 1946 club. The Petroleum Club dates to 1946, when it was established by Houston oilmen. As of Jan 12th, 2015, the club changed ownership and function by the Exxon Mobile Corporation, and the great chandeliers became available. The design is so appealing, that we created special chandeliers using the top ring for a special customer. We made a variety of types, and we now offer this special one. This design appeals, since it looks good from EVERY angle. Great for a stairway that curves around it...looking sideways...looking downward...every angle has design and a pleasant appeal. Measurements: * Diameter: 46" * Height: 70" The hang height can be adjusted for the customer either longer...or shorter...for project needs. Wiring: This is a 10 light chandelier. There are 10 medium base sockets for standard bulbs. It has been wired in our UL shop, and is UL approved. While it uses regular medium base bulbs of any type now, we can adjust this wiring for special uses too. It could be adapted to chandelier sockets, or even GU-10 sockets. At present, we are using a 9 watt dimmable LED bulb for regular E26 sockets. This bulb is special, as it is dimmable, a normal medium based bulb, and powerful...being equal to a 100 watt incandescent bulb. Looks nice too. We kept the old switches...they tested good, and added to the look of originality for this period. Measurements: * Height: 12 ½" * Width: 11 ¼" * Projection: 5" from the wall into the room. Here is a perfect example of a RARE Danish modern glass carafe in an exceptional color! It was part of the Viking range (introduced in 1955) designed by Ole Winther for Holmegaard Glass. It was designed for a Danish wine company. The “CE” is the mark for Cherry Elsinore, a Danish cherry wine. Beautiful deep emerald color. About 9 1/2“ tall x 5“ wide and very heavy! This is not the more common variant with the Norseman’s head or the later version with the Viking head, but the very scarce early Cherry Elsinore variation and rare in this beautiful color!.
