This is a fabulous pair of antique single-arm sconces in brass, dating from the 1920’s. Each sconce features a richly ornamented back plate with volutes, acanthus details, and traces of turquoise color in the design. A beautifully detailed arm extends upward from the base of the sconce to support a flower-like, gadrooned bobeche. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired with working switches and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This is a wonderful pair of antique Spanish Revival cast iron double-arm sconces, dating from the 1920’s and retaining their original polychrome finish. Made and signed by Markel Electric Products, these figural sconces depict a knight in armor, with a shield below on a hammered background. The sconce arms extend to either side, featuring crenelated bobeches encircled with rope detail, each with a volute spike finial below. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. Large antique triple-arm Gothic Revival hand-forged iron sconces, circa 1910. Each sconce features a horizontal rectangular backplate; a crenelated semicircular band is hand riveted to the backplate, enclosing three riveted bobeches. A wrought iron rod comes up from the backplate in an inverted V shape with twisted sides, forming a loop at the top. Because these sconces were hand made, each is unique. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation.
