A putti is standing in the centre of the bigger gadrooned basin, on top of a grapes adorned vase, with his arms raised to support the smaller basin. Very good condition. A very nice French jardinière which is made of French kingwood veneers. It is a beautiful shaped design and is decorated with bronze mounted Sevres porcelain plaques. The plaques are hand painted with floral decorations surrounded by a raised gold wreath. The body of the jardinière is also highlighted with bronze banding and topped with an ornate bronze reticulated gallery. The sides are mounted with cast bronze handles in the Louis XV style.
