Victorian, circa 1870 George Jones Majolica pond lily strawberry server. Sugar and cream bowls in the form of a pond lily flower. Handle in the form of two branches bound together. Dish is decorated with a large pond lily pad, strawberry leaf and flower moldings, inside a turquoise basket. Mottled reverse. Three stilt marks inside the foot along with impressed pattern registration diamond for 19th February 1876 and pattern number ''50'' painted in reserve. Good. No cracks. No hairlines. Tiny bruise to edge of left hand flower. Slightly stained crazing to the lily pad. Two repaired hairlines to the rim. One restored petal to right hand flower. Victorian, circa 1870 George Jones Majolica three piece strawberry server. Oval shaped platter decorated in relief with strawberry fruits, leaves and flowers on turquoise ground. Ochre rim with a hole at either end to hold the sugar bowl and creamer. Mottled reverse with three stilt marks, impressed pattern registration diamond for 16th Jan 1872, and painted mark ''3217 40'' in reserve inside the foot. Sugar bowl and creamer molded as strawberry leaves, both pieces with a pedestal foot and turquoise interior. Twisted leaf handle with a strawberry flower at the top to creamer. Stilt marks and a vent hole to underside of both. Server: Good. Very slight wear to interior. Two repaired hairlines to rim. Sugar: Generally good.
