A beautiful famille rose dish with the emblems of the eight immortals or baxian. They represent poverty, wealth, aristocracy, plebianism, age, youth, masculinity and feminity. At 12 o'clock, the two emblems represent Li Tiequai (gourd)and Han Xiangzhi (flute). At three o'clock the emblems represent Lan Caihe (basket of flowers)and He Xiangu (lotus). At 6 o'clock, it represent Zhang Guolao (bamboo tube) and Cao Guojiu (castanets). Finally at 9 o'clock, the emblems represent Zhongli Quan (fan) and Lu Dongbin (sword). All the emblems are partially gilded. In the centre of the dish, there is a pair of peaches, repesenting longevity and a wufu, the five fortunes surrounded by the lotus leave. It has a honorific "Cheng Hua" four character mark to the base of the rim. It also has a gilded scalloped shaped rim. Cir. late 19th century. A very nice famille rose piece.
The dish is in good condition. No chip, crack,repair or hair line. Only minor wear to the gilding on the rim and enamel.
The measurement of the famille rose dish is as follows: the dimater is 23.3cm and the height is 3.6cm.

This is a dark slightly irridescent toffee-coloured glazed porcelain tripod censer of shallow compressed gobular vessel supported on three flatten bud feet. On the slightly everted mouth rim of the censer, it has a slightly tilted handle to the left and right. The tripod is designed after the popular Ming dynasty Xuande period style. Cir. late 18th to 19th century.
Generally in good condition - No damage. No repair, hairline, crack or chip. The colour of the censer should be darker toffee in colour
The height of the Cafe-au-lait tripod censer is 8cm and the width is 11.2cm

A blue and white Straits Chinese Nonya plate. Very unusual to find Nonya ware in blue and white. Nonya wares are over-glaze polychrome enamelled porcelains made in Jingdezhen in the Kiangsi province of China for the Straits Chinese, or Babas, whose female counterparts are called Nonyas, hence the term Nonya ware. Nonya wares were mainly reserved for festive occasions and special functions. Size: W.15.6 x 11.4cm. H.3.5cm. Condition: No repairs.

This is an elegant pair of tall chine de blance vase. It stands on a shallow foot rim everting upward slightly like a "v" shape with a mild short shoulder and then a slightly long inverted "C" shaped and an everted flat mouth rim. On the side of the shoulder, there is a pair of moulded lion-mask to the left and right. On the base it has the mark of the honoric mark of "Da Ming Xuande Nian Zhou". Cir. 18th/19th century.
There is only and age old chip of about 1.6 cm to the base of one of the vase. This is shown in picture no.5. It feel very smooth touches, suggesting that it is old chip and not recent. The chip does not affect the aesthetic and beauty of the elegant pair of blance de chine vase. Other than that, there are no chip, crack, repair or restoration.
The height of the blanc de chine vase is 36.6cm and thw width is 13cm.

This is a finely potted Qing dynasty blue and white shallow dish. It has a pair of phoenix soaring in the sky. On the base it has a four character mark "Zhing Tang Fu Chi". This date the dish to the late Qing dynasty, possibly Guangxu period - late 19th century to early 20th century.
Generally in good condition. No chip, crack, hairline or repair. Only a pin hole as shown in picture no.4.
The diameter is 13.3cm and the height is 4.3cm.

This is a large green glazed Ming dynasty funerary figure modelled as a palaquin bearer or attendant. It stand on a step and waisted hexagonal plinth with six feet. The right hand of the palaquin bearer or attendant is resting on his chest with the long sleeve covering the arm, exposing only the hand. The other arm is within the long sleeve. The slash at the waist is unglazed, exposing a slightly redish clay.
There are some abrasion and minor chip which can be expected from funerary objects. The white plaster at the right hand of the attendant has sign of degradation as shown in the first picture of photograph no.4. There are no other major damages, repair or restoration. The funerary palaquin bearer or attendant can be considered to be in good condition and that it is well preserved.
The height of the palanquin bearer or attendant is 49cm (19.6inches), the length is 13cm and the width is 11cm.

Another niece piece of Ming dynasty funerary sancai glazed foreign groom and horse. The groom is foreign looking with a white slash on the waist and downward. The cap looks like from the western part of the county, probably from the one of the tribes. The groom wears a brown coloured clothe with a long sleevless outer coat in green with white collar and button. The horse is cream white in colour with green glazed harness and green saddle cloth on the horse back. The saddle is glazed in brown colour.
There is a re-attachment to one of the foreign groom thump as shown in a circle in photo no.4. Other than that, the usual abrasion, wear and tear applies to all funerary object. Other than the broken thump which is re-attached, it is considered to be in good condition.
The height of the sancai glazed foreign groom and horse is 26.7cm, the height is 23.5 and the width is 12.5cm.
