Antique Napoleonic Brass Bracelet Circa. 1830 - 1840 France During the reign of Napoleon, the Emporer needed cash (gold) to pay for his military adventures. He requested that all gold, especially gold jewelry be donated to the cause of his conquests. Thus, it was fashionable to wear costume jewelry to show your active support. This bracelet was created to resemble a 22K yellow gold bracelet much in vogue at the time. The style and craftsmanship of this reproduction is wonderful. The bracelet measures a full 7 1/4 inches and we have an additional link that will be provided. The bracelet is 1 1/2 inches wide and 1/16 inch deep Each link measures 1 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches.
