Here we have a great set of perfect, mint, Art Reed hand blown heavy goblets from his 2002 designer collection of tableware! Art’s studio is Sweetwater Glass in DeLancy, NY and his work is found in many museums. All of the goblets are signed around the pontil scar on base, “Art Reed 02”, see close-up photo. They are about 6” tall x 3 ½” wide and truly exceptional, heavy crystal! Beautifully made and beautiful form reminiscent of the early American colonial forms. A lovely rare pair of blown glass candlesticks with a lot of work into them! Bases are pattern molded, blown in a ribbed mold then turned to create a swirl effect. Candle cups are blown separately and applied to the bases with the rims expanded and crimped all around and handles applied. Rough pontil scars to bases and lots of small bubbles in glass. Each is about 5 ½” tall x 4” wide. Most probably made during the 1950’s at one of the Virginia glass houses such as Rainbow. Both perfect! Rare pair!   « Less

Gorgeous large (just over 12.5” tall and weighs about 4 ½ pounds) Nash designed blown glass pitcher with vibrant pink threading within the glass all around, pattern molded (ribed), beautifully applied handle with rigaree loops at end and clearly signed (acid etched) “Libbey” within the recess of the polished pontil on base. One of the nicest Libbey / Nash pieces you will ever see, and did we say LARGE? Centerpiece for any early 20th century glass collection. Perfect, museum worthy, condition!!! Price is firm. Here is a set of blown glass color Steuben bottles from the 1930’s. Each is blown in a ribbed dip mold with faint vertical ribs and has an applied foot. One is in a lovely medium jade green and the other is in a lovely bright green. Both have their pressed glass stoppers. One (the jade green) has its stopper ground and not the inside of neck and the other (the bright green) has its inside of neck ground and not the stopper. Go figure! Both are perfect and faintly acid etched STEUBEN on base within their ground and polished pontil recesses. The bright green one is clear, but very difficult to photograph due to reflection and the jade one shows only a faint partial acid etching, impossible to photograph with our camera.. Both measure about 7 ½” tall with stoppers. Price is firm. Thanks for looking.   « Less

Here we have a superb very heavy, crystal pitcher made in Germany by the Seiegelau glass company. Very elegant form, perfect crystal clear glass blown pitcher with applied handle, weighs about 4 pounds. The Spiegelau etched mark of a backwards “S” beneath a crown appears on the base. The glassworks is nestled in a small Bavarian town bearing the company's name. Spiegelau has been making glassware for nearly 500 years. Very handsome, high quality blown glass pitcher!
