These are 21 matching antique cast iron door plates, circa 1900. These plates feature a border of alternating anthemia and berries on a textured background, with volute detail at the top and bottom of each plate. This door hardware is in excellent condition with a nice patina and some minor white paint splatters. The top bead on one of the doorplates has been cut off (pictured), possibly to allow it to fit underneath decorative detail on a door; the other twenty plates are unmodified. These are seven matching antique 1940’s Art Deco white porcelain drum-shaped doorknob sets with latches and matching porcelain rosettes. The drum shape of the doorknobs is a style not usually seen in porcelain knobs. These are in good antique condition, with a few hairlines and one minor fleabite in some of the knobs, and one or two minor chips to a couple of the rosettes (see photos). The doorknobs are 2 ¼†in diameter and 1 ¾†deep; the rosettes are 2 5/8†in diameter. We also have an additional single knob and rosette available (for use on a closet door or a similar application) – please contact us if interested. Dating from the late 1800’s, these Art Nouveau window pulls feature a magnificent design and intricate detail, with a fox head in the recessed center of the sash lift.
