An amazing flow blue large vegetable bowl, made by W.H. Grindley (marked J. Kent England). The bowl stands 2 1/2" high and is almost 11" in diameter at the top. No chips, cracks or repairs but there is crazing. We couldn't find the pattern name. A vibrant color throughout, the scene depicts boaters going down a waterway surrounded by building and trees. A superb addition to any flow blue collection.   « Less

For sale is a very nice Minton 2 handle punch bowl. Marked impressed Minton BB with 4 other impressed marks. Stands 4 1/4" and is 10 3/4" at the top rim. There has been a rim repair which also has a hairline extending down from it as shown. The handles have a gold washed relief that really looks great. A colorful bowl with orange, blue, green, gold patterns. The date marks it to around 1860 era   « Less

An outstanding Worcester Wash Basin and Guglet set meticulously hand painted with The Willow Bridge Fisherman pattern with border number 90 (reference: Brandon, French and Sandon. Worcester Blue & white Porcelain 1751 -90) These sets rarely come on the market, the basins have usually been damaged and had some restoration. This set is in wonderful condition with no restoration to either piece. The bowl has a very small fine glaze star crack to the underside of the base just inside the footrim, under strong light this does not show as damage to the porcelain so no evidence inside the bowl. As with most very large Worcester pieces of this early period there are some firing faults, these are very minor and consist of slight deformation of the footrim and bowl. The bowl sits perfectly flat. The Guglet is in perfect condition. The Worcester hand painted open crescent to the base. Basin measures 27.5cms diameter x 11.5cms high.
