Wonderful early 1900s copper lantern with a beautiful verdigris patina, suitable for either interior or exterior use. This lantern features a round canopy coming down in a diamond loop finial to the sloped roof. The body is made of beautiful amber granite glass with evenly spaced thin vertical rods. This porch light is in very good antique condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Having had dozens and dozens of two light fixtures over the years, it takes a rather unusual one to get our undivided attention. But, here is such a light. Probably the best part of this light is the heavily embossed glass shades which are suspended on three chain each. How cute ! Of course we also added our LED light bulb to it so we could tuck the shade up a bit higher and like the overall affect. Simply a neat two light pendant. Circa 1900-10, it is a mixture of pretty metal work and intricate embossing on the shades. First double one we have had like this. Of course, the chains can be shortened for a lower ceiling, so let us know what you have to work with and we will be happy to help. Completely re-wired in our UL approved shop, it is ready to hang immediately upon arrival. Even two LED bulbs will be included. Marvelous antique Neoclassical pendant light with iridescent shade, salvaged out of Harrisburg, PA and dating from 1905. This light fixture begins with a decorative foliate canopy, working its way down in chain to a beaded scroll loop finial. Below, the shade holder is hourglass-shaped and ornamented with floral and leaf details. The original iridescent shade is acid etched with flower garland, ribbon, and hanging flower basket details. This pendant light is in excellent condition, and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rim. Very impressive two light pendant, circa 1935, made by Lincoln Lighting Products of Detroit, Michigan. This light came from a series that was called the Triangle Line. Perhaps the name referred to the case design since the shade does not show any triangles. The light is attractive and a working two light fixture which can be difficult to find. The finish of the light is very good being self colored aluminum with a nice dark line in the cracks accenting the design of the light. The detail of the carved shades in this pendant is simply outstanding. These carved amber shades are simply remarkable for color and design and condition. Orange/amber is normally preferred when collecting art deco lighting...and you really have to go some distance to find nicer deeply carved amber shades than these. Measurements: This fixture measures 23 inches tall from the ceiling to the bottom of the finial and has a width of 12 1/2 inches. The ceiling canopy has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches. We will supply the bracket (crossbar) for this light so literally, you can hang this light and have it working minutes after receiving it. A rewired, authentic two light art deco pendant. Ready to hang. This light has been rewired and still has the ambiance of a 1930s light. New sockets, with new central lead wire, were installed. Each socket is capable of a 100 watt bulb. There was a time back in the 1950's that these shades were reproduced for consumers decorating in the Victorian style. Not a lot of them survived but some of them were made pretty darn well. We believe that this is one of those shades which gives a nice ambiance. To make one of these is not so easy. First you had to have the art glass sheet. Then you had to cut each blank to size. Next was the "slumping" process where the flat cut out piece is laid up on a die that takes the shape you wish to create. It is put into a high temp oven and allowed to almost melt. The glass becomes soft and sags...or "slumps" over the die that has the shape you wish to create. After the slumping process, annealing takes place so it does not shatter when it cools and then some edge grinding and finally assembly. Not all the glass pieces survive. Measurements: 17 1/2" tall but could be lengthened by adding chain links, or...reduced to as little as 13" by removing all but one link. The shade has an 11" diameter and takes one 100 watt bulb.
