This is a multi-motif sterling silver flatware pattern with seventeen different handle decorations depicting subjects and stories from classical mythology. On this piece is seen Paris, the son of Priam, King of Troy, presenting to Venus the golden apple, he having been called upon by Juno, Minerva, and Venus to adjudge the prize of beauty to the fairest of these goddesses. On the reverse side is the goddess located where the shank meets the bowl. This sterling silver fish slice has the incuse date mark m with underlining and is placed in front of the words Tiffany & Co., indicating 1870 to 1875 or 1878. Length 12 1/2" Sharp design. These are 100 matching fantastic antique door backplates, old new stock, in a rare “Winton” pattern. These circa 1930’s doorplates are in mint condition and have never been used. These door plates feature an unusual elongated shape with a fabulous two-tone finish described on the box as “dull bronze.” Each pair comes complete in its original wrapping paper, with a little packet of screws. This is a rare hardware design – we have never seen it before. The plates are in mint condition; each plate measures 8 ½” long and 1 3/8” wide.
