Tiffany Studios was comprised of a team of designers under the direction of Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848-1933). Louis was the son of Charles Tiffany who founded the jewelry and luxury goods store Tiffany & Company. His studio produced a wide range of decorative arts including stained glass windows, lamps, mosaics, blown glass, enamelware, ceramics, jewelry and bronze metalwork. Since 1981 the Mdina factory has been run by Joseph Said, one of the original apprentices, and is still producing high quality glass.
