Rare and beautiful antique Art Deco 18k gold diamonds rubies and emeralds brooch. The diamond in the center is an old cut I color VS-2 clarity measuring .40 carats most likely because its an old deep cut it weighs more than that but the smallest size it could be is .40 points. It has cabochon ruby eyes, the wings are decorated with old cut diamonds. The body of the butterfly has 3 natural color, nice clarity antique cut emeralds. Combined gem weight more than 1 carat. The butterfly measures 1-5/8 inches wide and 1 inch from top to bottom. Weight 5.4 grams. The brooch can be adapted to be worn as a necklace.
