Here is another unusual early earthenware bowl with graphic polychrome designs. The origin of the bowl is questionable, we figure either midwest US or Middle Eastern, 19th century. We have 8 different bowls in stock that came out of one estate. This bowl measures almost 4" high and is 11 3/4" in diameter at the top. There are minor rim chips/flakes as well as some paint flaking within the bowl. No maker marks. A wonderful primitive piece.

A vintage pottery bowl made by Van Briggle. Van Briggle Pottery was established in Colorado in 1901. We believe this piece is the 1940's era mark. The bowl stands 3" high and is 6" at its widest. No chips or cracks or repairs. There are stray darker marks, possibly firing flaws? Mulberry tends to be more desirable than the blue. « Less

A lot of 8 W Adams English porcelain flow blue saucers in the Kyber pattern. Circa late 1800's on these. Each is 6" in diameter and stands almost 1" high. There are 4 that have gold colored remnants on the border (some has gold trim). Of these 4 2 are marked, 2 not marked. One is cracked, one has a small chip below the rim. Out of the other 4 one has a rim flake. Of course there is the usual wear from 100 years of use.

For sale is this lot of two tin glazed earthenware pieces, circa very early 1800's, possibly late 1700's. No markings on either. The colors are still vibrant on both. The plate is 9" in diameter with pinks, yellows, greens, and blues. A couple of rim chips and wear to the outer rim as well as a 1/2" stress mark. The bowl is 8" in diameter and stands 1 1/4". This also has a couple of rim chips and 1 stress line, though it is not a crack. A nice lot of good early pieces we believe Continental in origin on both. « Less
