The sleeves, collar and hem have a braid of gold sequins. The outer sheath is a little longer than the underdress. The under dress a gold metallic soft fabric. It has a metal zipper. This is vintage and not a recent piece. To us it appears to be 1970ish. This is from the Estate of one of the wealthiest single women in San Francisco. (now deceased). It is a Gucci fold over clutch with leather trim and a buckle. I read up on the authentic Gucci and they should have a number embossed. However, I do not see one on this clutch. The quality is certainly there and I do not know when Gucci started tracking numbers. The leather is high quality, the stitching even and one color. The "G" in Gucci is truly a "G". Has an "Ideal" zipper. The hardware is quality .Maybe another ebay can let us know. The clutch could use a cleaning. The pictures of the soil were only noticeable once under the bright camera lights. Otherwise is is in excellent condition.   « Less

This is a fantastic 1940's rayon dress. The colors are maroon and mauve with swirl applique and copper color beads. The dress is fitted at waist. (belt no include that you see in picture) The dress has long sleeves with turn up cuff. The dress has self covered button along the front side and it has a metal side zipper and back neck zipper. On the right it has a pocket like opening, however no pocket just open inside. We do not see evidence where there might have been one at one time. It just might be the design. Just thought we would mention it. The dress is in excellent condition. The Mauve on right near the opening seems to have some dirt. Very faint. We have not cleaned the dress.   « Less
