The butterfly is attached to a very long double pin measuring a little more than 4 inches. This could be worn in your hair, hat, on a jacket, or just about anywhere you think it could be worn. When wearing and moving with this pin on, the butterfly shakes back and forth as if it were beginning to fly right off your lapel or out of your hair. It is set on the double pin with a gold braided wire attached to the back of the butterfly. We've never seen one like this. It is a very rare item The condition is excellent.
