We have for sale a very pretty pitcher. The pitcher is hand painted and is trimmed in gold. There is a mark on the underneath side. I do not know the maker or the age or date. There is a worn place in the gold on the handle. There are no cracks or chips. It is a very nice piece. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested. Beautiful antique Royal Worcester pitcher with high relief sculptured flowers. It is further enhanced with beautiful hand painted flowers of various colors decorating all sides of the pitcher. This is a very rare model one we have never seen before. It's marked Royal Worcester Rd No 62036, and below that is 1185. The pitcher is in excellent condition showing only minimal wear commensurate with age and use. There are no defects, restorations cracks or any condition issues whatsoever. It measures 8 inches high. Form the side of the pitcher to the back of the handle it measures 8 inches. Diameter at base 3-3/4 inches. Beautiful antique Wedgwood pitcher with high relief sculptured figures, one burning incense and oils, another carrying a basket of fruits and flowers, and a cherub. The other side has a procession including a lady carrying an urn with oils, another lady carrying a basket of fruits, and a cherub carrying a torch. The figures are all walking towards the lady in the center burning incense and oils as an offering to the Gods. The top of the pitcher has grape vines and grapes sculptured in high relief. One of the grape vines has a small separation mark near the handle. To the right side of the pouring spout is 1/8 inch of color loss. Other than that it is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use. Height 6-1/4 inches. From the pouring spout to the back of the handle it measures 5 inches. Diameter at base 3-3/4 inches. The pitcher is decorated with 6 queens, 2 kings, 4 jacks, and an ace playing cards with more playing cards in the background. The pitcher is in excellent condition measuring 7-1/4 inches high to the top of the devil's head. Widest width from the pouring spout to the back of the devil is 7-1/2 inches. Beautiful antique and very rare Wedgwood pitcher with a high relief bust of George Washington on one side, and a high relief bust of Benjamin Franklin on the other. Below the pouring spout is a wreath with fruits, flowers, and musical instruments. Three tiny separations were noted along the lower decorative border. The top border with the vines and leaves appears to be perfect. The back has high relief sculptured flowers below the top of the handle. Height 6 inches. Tall ornate gilt decorated Royal Worcester pitcher with beautiful hand painted and high relief sculptured flowers. The pitcher measures 10 inches high. It has a diameter at the base of 3-3/4 inches. There are some condition issues. There are 2 tiny areas of paint loss, minor flaking along the bottom gold rim border at the base. It has a hairline crack and small chip at the top on one side. This piece could be restored perfectly by a professional restorer for not more than $100.00. It looks nice in a display cabinet as is or one could restore if desired.
