Pair of Art Deco, early 20th century amber and gold glass perfume / scent bottle atomisers. Devilbiss.8 1/4inches high.Round base with gilden flower, the petals radiating from the center. Long, narrow, elegant foot, richly gilded and textured leading to oval shaped bodies with shield-shaped amber glass ''windows'' outlined in black. The triangular theme is continued in reverse on the neck, with gold enclosed in black. Sensuous gold metalwork leads to original atomisers. No chips/cracks. Very minor gilt wear on bases. Made in Birmingham, England.Measures 4inches high.Round bottle very deeply cut on the entire surface except the shoulder.Neck and hinged lid are cased in silver. Repousse floral and scrolling motif with a reserve that can be engraved with a monogram (left empty). Has the original glass stopper. Fully Hallmarked silver.Condition is MINT. Early 20th century Czech art glass bottle with bronze cap/stopper and rings. Almost identical bottle is to be found in the best books on Bohemian glass. Original function may be either a perfume / scent bottle or, it''s been suggested, a Christmas ornament for hanging from the tree. Stands 5 1/8inches high. 3 1/4inches accross at widest point. Amber - olive ribbed glass bedecked with white peacock marks with blue centers. They are part of the glass, not applied and illustrate the incredible mastery of technique of the artist. The slightly irregular round shape of the neck (see photo) also shows that the piece was handmade. Bronze ball stopper fits snugly into the neck. It has a loop and two rings attached to it. 1896 Birmingham, England: cut glass and sterling silver lidded cologne or perfume bottle. 5 1/4'' high. Round body made of deeply faceted cut glass in vrious patterns. The neck is silver overlaid and the screw-on lid is silver with scrolling repousse patterns and engraved cap. Lid is marked in two places for Birmingham 1896. Some of the lower marks are worn, but the others are quite clear. HW ?N & ?L is the maker. The bottle and silver are in very good condition: negligible minute dings to the silver. Huge vintage cut glass centerpiece bowl, from the estate of a 93 year old collector. Probably American, dating to the early 20th century.Measures11 1/4inches accross at widest point and 6 3/8inches high.Very thick glass, cut deeply with radiating miters. Bottom is round with deep facets that flare up and out to an oval, dipping in height on the sides. The long, elegant v-shaped cuts all the way up are embellished only with fine cross cutting, echoed in the vertical parrallel lines cut along the margin, called a blaze / fringe. 18-pointed star underneath. They were filled with a pinkish powder, most of which I have removed.The surface is covered with a very heavy layer of scrolling foliage and flowers. Unusually bold and cheerful. The vases are embossed underneath with factory/maker''s marks. I can''t make out all the letters, but they include MAI-L AI 6 B11 if that is of some help. Condition is very good.
