Pretty porcelain shaving mug - self embossed body with floral pattern of raspberry fruits and flowers. Little white dots highlights. Gilded flashings. (Why is it that shaving mugs are invariably floral and pretty - not at all what one might expect a man to like. I suppose they were probably bought by the wife). Anyway, this one has a blind hairline inside the top area. Apart from this, it is in very good condition. Late 19th century. No maker's marks, just a painter's mark under the base. measures 11 cm high and 15.5 cm handle to spout. « Less

Masonic jewel, early 20th century Masonic Royal Arch keystone fob pendant. Made in either chalcedony or maybe rock crystal in the keystone block shape with the letters H.T.W.S.S.T.K.S (Hiram, Tyrian, Widow’s Son, Sendeth to King Solomon) in circle. Other side has the keystone penny circle as photographed with triangle to centre. Metal bale, suspended by a hook from a red and silver grosgrain ribbon. Ribbon has floral decorated metal (possibly silver or silver plate) to top and bottom, and metal insignia badge of hammer and chisel in the centre. Actual keystone measures 22 mm by 20 mm by 7 mm thick. Very good condition, just some small wear to rear of ribbon. « Less

Very nice 1960s powder compact. Gold tone case, stamped Made in England but no maker's mark. The top has a crocodile leather inset. Interior is complete with filter and puff, although the puff has flattened a lot. Condition is very good, the only fault would be that the inside of the lid needs cleaning as the puff has imprinted a sort of green tarnish ring there. Good large size, measuring 8.5 cm diameter. « Less

Underneath is "By Appointment to His Majesty King George V. MacFarlane, Lang & Co's Biscuits & Cakes. Glasgow and London, established 1817". Tin measures 18 cm by 16 cm, and 6.5 cm high. Tin is in very good condition - some very minor wear, but one of the best I've ever had. « Less

Model 447, serial number indicates it was made in early 1915; crank on side.
Model 35 3/4, serial number 433011 indicates it was made between Feb. & May, 1905. This one has a broken marble in front of drawer (it's in 5 pieces but no missing pieces); and thick glass at the top is broken, but all there. Would consider selling separately. They each measure 18.5cm long. The handle is a hefty 7.5 cm wide by 2.7 cm diameter. Condition: Whalebone is in very good condition. The metal has some surface light rust, but only surface - these are a very strong pair of pulls. « Less

There are two magnificent Chinese snuff bottles one with lid and one without. They both have incredible carving, with figures, outdoor scene, trees, and brass fitted rings, on the lid. Made of composite, believe to be either resin, or hard resin. One has signature (without lid) and the other looks much older. The carvings are impeccable. The measurements : about 2.5" x 2" x 1" also 2.75" x 1.75" x 1.25" . They are in aged condition, and noted on the clear images. Believe to be prior to circa 1950's or 40's. « Less
