For sale we have an antique yellow ware pitcher with a Bennington type glaze. There is a medallion in relief on either side with a bust, not sure who its supposed to be though. The total height is 7" and its also 7" handle to spout. The top of the handle has a face on it. No chips or cracks, there is an old rim repair about 1/4" which really does not effect the piece. For sale is this lovely English ceramic or porcelain pitcher, possibly Liverpool, circa late 1800's. A fine ring turned body leads up to a grapevine pattern in relief along with 2 bands, also in relief. Good condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. There is some residue on the handle we believe to be from the kitchen, possibly grease. The pitcher has a height of 7 3/4". No maker mark, and somebody named Frances put there name in red on the bottom.   « Less

A 19th century stoneware jug that stands about 13 3/4" high. There is a stamp over the bird reads Brady & Ryan Ellenville NY and also the number 2 is over that. Brady & Ryan (Samuel Brady and Jon Ryan) were in business between 1878-1897. The cobalt brushed bird standing on a branch is mildly faded but still has a great primitive look. One rim chip on the bottom as shown, and a couple of glaze pops that have been touched up. Otherwise very good overall condition.   « Less

This late 1800's early 1900's yellow ware pitcher is likely McCoy, but no maker marks. Stands just over 8 1/2" and has a grape motiff on either side. Measures 8 1/2" tip of spout to handle. There are chips on the bottom rim as shown and also a chip at the tip of the spout, otherwise no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a normal amount of crazing for the age. Primitive green paint against the yellow body, a great old piece of pottery. That piece of pottery on the bottom does not interfere with normal standing.   « Less

The pitcher is a beautiful butter yellow with sage green highlighting the top and bottom borders and the grape and leaf emblem on the front and back. Stoneware has become a very popular collectible and is considered a good investment as the market continues to grow stronger. This pitcher is in really good condition, with some chips along the bottom edge and some very small chips on the outside and a small chip on the spout. This gorgeous collectible is a Van Briggle bud pitcher that is in really good condition. It is marked on the bottom with "Van Briggle Colo. Spg." and a symbol, which you can see in the photographs. The pitcher is a beautiful turquoise that fades from a darker color on top to lighter on the bottom. The interior is also turquoise. The pitcher measures 9" in height, 3 3/4" from side to side, 4" from front to back, and weighs 2 pounds. Sorry but we do not know the exact age of this piece. It is in very good condition with only a chip on the bowl. I do not know the exact date. It weighs 8 pounds as a set.
