This enchanting Art Deco chandelier displays its original nickel and bronze plated finish. This chandelier meets the chain at a large loop style top finial, which is connected to a thick center rod that is adorned with tri-ribbing along either side. The center rod meets an irregularly shaped globe, ribbed at the base, from which three slightly bent rods make arms. The globe’s underside supports a marvelously futuristic style finial. Orbiting the chandelier at the end of each arm, one will find a stylized cone-shaped bobeche within which sets superb custard glass “pudding bowl” shades. The shades are marked Czechoslovakia (see finial image). This adorable three light chandelier is one of those quintessential Art Deco pieces that give one a nostalgia for the “future” as it was dreamed back then. This chandelier is in excellent condition, and displays only minimal “flea bites” to the glass. These are not noticeable when the shades are in place, and do not affect the attractiveness of this piece at all. It has been professionally rewired, and it comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The overall diameter is 15”; the length of the chandelier only is 12 ½”; the overall length is 23”.   « Less

NSP138 This beaming pair of cast sconces were made in the 1920’s and holds their original golden brown polychrome finish. These sconces display a circular shaped, scalloped back plate, which extends creating a palmette that is framed by a styled accolade. The base of the back plate begins with a corresponding palmette and showcases a center fleuron framed in a mosaic style casting. The fluted arm branches out from each of these sconces to hold a festooned bobeche. The wall lamps are in excellent condition. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctional antique turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we would gladly replace them with new ones if so desired They are 11 3/8” long, 4 7/8” wide and protrude 5” from the wall.   « Less

Circa 1925-35. Unusual, Art Deco lamp. My favorite kind of Alabaster lamp, unusual size and shape, one I have never seen before and possibly one of a kind This one is all original, two piece with a bullet shaped top on a pedestal base. It appears all hand made with a saw toothed design around the base of the shade, three small drilled air holes (to allow heat to escape) near the point and visible circles from it's turning under the base. The stone is a soft white with some smoky grey veining. This lamps looks great lit or unlit and gives off a surprising amount of light when lit. Perfect for accent or mood lighting or as a night light. Original Edison based socket, freshly re-wired for safety. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate.
