Plays well, sounds great. Very few scratches or nicks! Perfect addition to any family's home. Great for the non-professional or novice player AND is a perfect case for an antique restoration project.
Antique Piano Expert says the following:
Extremely well kept - all original wood, characteristics and mechanisms which makes it a great collectible and also appropriate for beginner or for personal play. If a professional want to buy it and restore it, needs upgrades since it is all original insides.
Besides just a beautiful family home addition as-is (with one key needing repair),
this piano is a * prime unit for restoration *

SEMIE MOSELEY’S JOE MAPHIS II 1960’S MOSRITE ELECTRIC GUITAR!
A very rare offering. This was actually Semie Moseley’s own Joe Maphis II guitar.
During Semie Mosley’s last production years at Jonas Ridge, NC guitar production went on very slowly. Semi often worked alone and often completed only a few guitars a week. Semie had his ups and downs in the business; bankruptcy, moving to several locations and a car accident that nearly lost him his leg. During his years at Jonas Ridge, NC he had struggled to continue his guitar manufacturing and through a local college program, contracted a business backer that became a close and personal friend of Semie and his wife Loretta.
When Semie passed away this friend purchased 5 of Semie’s guitars from Loretta to remember him by. Even though he did not play guitar he kept the 5 guitars for over 20 years in memory of his friend Semie. Then in his senior years he decided it was time to pass them along to musicians who will enjoy them and play them again.
As a musician and guitar collector, I was fortunate to buy the 5 guitars as a collection.
This one is a very nice example of the Joe Maphis II model, dating to the 1960’s. It is in excellent overall condition. The neck is thin and the action is fast. The frets are low, ribbon-like with no dents or divots, just as Semie left it, see photos. It comes with its original Mosrite, faux alligator, case in good overall condition (some stains and scuffs and a Delta Airlines sticker when Semi traveled with it.)
I have done nothing to the guitar other than wipe it off, oil the tuners, lightly oil the fretboard with natural vegetable oil (I do not believe in using commercial products that often contain petroleum distillates and artificial ingredients) and replace the strings (the original strings will be included). It plays and sounds excellent. The chambered body gives the guitar a bit of a woody tone. The case was missing the handle when I bought it, so I replaced it with an exact fit, high grade leather handle, keeping the original metal brackets intact.
Semie was not only an important figure in the history of American guitar manufacture, but an accomplished musician who loved gospel music. This guitar is of historical importance and should be in a museum.
It is truly a spiritual experience to play this guitar. You will really feel the vibes. She plays and sounds awesome.
I am including, as provenance, copies of the following documents I received when I purchased the guitar:
1. A one page letter written by Semie's partner address to me explaining his relation with Semi and listing the 5 guitars with descriptions and serial numbers of each.
2. A 2 page business contract (September 1989) between Semie and his partners and signed by all parties.
3. 4 Various letters (1990's) from the Mosrite Company, pertaining to expenses an guitar production, to Semie's partner, signed by Loretta.
4. A period Mosrite Guitars business card.
Serious inquiries only.
Please include full name and location with inquiry.

A very RARE Silvertone 574H/141OL, introduced in the Fall of 1962 and retired in 1963.
Sears “thrift model“. least expensive electric guitar at that time ($38.95.).
Historically important!
Awesome bird’s eye maple body with translucent red finish! “Cookie cutter†slab body with DeArmond “cheeze grater†pick up!
Beat that!
Super early retro design with a fat neck.
Neck is straight, action is low and frets are excellent. Tuners are all original and perfect, see photo.
Guitar is in overall excellent vintage condition with minor wear, see photos.
Guitar has its original carry bag in excellent condition, EXTREMELY RARE!!!
SHE PLAYS AND SOUNDS EXCELLENT!!!
Will need a light surface cleaning and new strings.
I bought this guitar many years ago and found a good hard case for it, included, and stashed it away as an investment piece.
It is collector quality and a RARE opportunity to own one of the Rarest Silvertones ever at a great price!

Extremely rare Lee Stiles 1960’s electric mandolin with original case.
Only 2 known examples!!!
Stiles guitars from the 60’s are becoming cult classics. This little gem is an important part of American guitar history.
It is in very good overall condition and still functions well. Beautiful red-burst color with Stiles logo on peg-head. Original Kluson tuners are excellent. There are some minor scratches and wear and overall finish cracking that I tried to show in reflected light in the last photo. I do not believe that the strings are correct, but I leave that up to the new owner.
Original, plush lined, custom case in also in very good condition. Photo of outside of case available.
You may never see another!

1940's - early 50’s Folk Art Nautical / whaling Americana Archtop Guitar; Most likely a Harmony.
Here is a super cool old American arch top guitar!
In the day it was decorated in nautical ; whaling motifs during the mid century.
The original pick-guard is painted as a whale. There is a large fouled anchor, mid body, beneath the strings. There is what appears to be a starfish or ray between the tail-piece and the fret-board is painted in gold and red (much worn from playing).
What an awesome piece of whaling nautical Americana!
The guitar is in very good condition for age, with a straight neck, low action, good frets and an excellent body with no cracks (just age wear and scratches as in photos).
The tuners and bridge are replacements and the tail-piece looks original (although there appears to have been a different tail-piece employed at some time). The pick guard is original and very rare to be intact!
The guitar has a V neck (I just love these) and plays very well and sounds great.
A unique piece of mid-century Americana that can be wonderful décor and taken off the wall and played!!!
Absolutely unique!!!!!
Sold as is.
Comes with mid century lined chipboard case in good condition.

1965 Egmond 3V Typhoon. This was Egmond’s top of the line electric solid body guitar back in 1965. It is a very scarce guitar.
A super cool looking, made in Holland, with 3 pickups, deep green vinyl covering, pearloid pick-guard and matching headstock. Straight meaty neck with plenty of life left in frets.
The pearloid headstock veneer must have been pulling away many years ago and someone neatly screwed and countersunk small screws around the edge (I guess they did not know how to re-glue it. You can replace the veneer if you like, there is an online company that sells it, but this was done during the working life of the guitar and is part of the guitar’s charm.
Guitar plays and sounds sweet.
Overall good condition with some nicks and nocks and vinyl shrinkage around edges (like they all do).
I do not know what all the positions on the multi selector switch are supposed to do, but some of them don’t seem to change the tone at all, so she will need some attention to get her back to original specs if you wish to do so.
Some of the most famous rock n roll musicians played early Egmonds!
