circa: 2000 width: 60 height: 81 length: 28 This exquisite mahogany computer desk is English-made by hand as a reproduction of a Georgian period antique. The flame mahogany, which the cabinetmaker treats to an elaborate finishing process, displays a fine, rich complexion and a distinct grain, both of which look particularly striking in combination with the customizable gold-tooled leather and solid brass hardware. The default ogee bracket feet look are as sturdy as they are elegant, while the credenza itself offers a generous amount of storage space, including one file drawer, one computer cabinet, three standard drawers and a central, hidden keyboard drawer--not to mention the hood that sits on top. Because this is a pedestal credenza, it does disassemble into the desktop, two pedestals and hood. Of course, as this desk is handmade, it is also incredibly sturdy, so it will last for generations to come. « Less

circa: 2000 width: 22 height: 38 length: 17 These exquisite solid mahogany Chippendale style dining chairs are hand-made in England and directly imported to our antique furniture store here in Atlanta, GA, USA. The solid mahogany, being treated to an elaborate hand-finishing process that includes distressing and polishing, displays a strikingly rich complexion and distinct grain that are equaled only by the impressive detail shown in the carvings along the crest, lion-head armrests, knees and ball-and-claw feet. Because these dining chairs are solid mahogany, they possess a strength and durability that cheap imitation furniture cannot hope to rival and, moreover, the cabriole legs are particularly strong because of their kneed construction, a characteristic that Queen Anne period craftsmen discovered when they developed this leg. The black upholstered seats complement the solid mahogany beautifully, and as has been customary in antique English chairs for centuries, they are removable for easy cleaning, so there is no need to worry about dirt buildup! These solid mahogany Chippendale style chairs will definitely last for decades and, if treated well, for generations, so making a set of these chairs part of your home furniture collection could very well be a lifetime investment! « Less

The solid mahogany, which is treated to an elaborate finishing process that includes hand-finishing and hand-polishing, displays a remarkably rich complexion and distinct grain that will endure for years to come. circa: 2000 width: 18 height: 40 length: 17 These Northwest style ladderback dining chairs are handmade from solid oak by a third-generation English cabinetmaker. The solid oak is treated to an elaborate finishing process that includes hand-finishing and distressing, while the rush seats themselves are finely woven to produce comfortable yet firm seats that are as beautiful as they are sturdy, producing a lovely contrast with the oak. The ladderback design itself, a typically English design, is modified in these dining chairs to produce a distinctive Northwest style, which is denoted by the number and shape of the rungs as well as by the pad feet and turned framing. Because these ladderback chairs are English-made--and solid oak at that--they are extremely sturdy and promise to last for generations. We also offer a variety of matching handmade dining tables that would look great with these Northwest style ladderback chairs. « Less
