Beautiful antique Elgin 14k gold hunting case lady's pendant watch. The serial number on the movement 17769403 indicates this watch was made between 1913-1914. The movement reads ELGIN USA 15 JEWELS with the watch serial number. Inside the front cover it is marked 14k. We just got this watch back from our expert watch maker who cleaned and serviced the watch. It runs great and keeps perfect time. One of the really unusual features of this pendant watch is the beautiful face. It has a subsidiary second hand dial with raised gold porcelain markings in between the numbers. It also has 5 minute markers and a gold hour and minute hand. The front of the case has a beautiful hand engraved bird with flowers and a shield shaped cartouche with a letter 'a'. The back of the case has two birds with high relief sculptured flowers and a beautiful detailed design. The watch weighs 29.9 grams. From the bottom of the case to the top of the watch ring it measures 1-3/4 inches. From side to side across the top it measures 1-1/4 inches. The enamel is in very good condition no losses showing only a couple of tiny scratches expected to be found on a piece of this age that has been used and enjoyed for more than 100 years. The box has a tiny ding on the very bottom sown in the close up picture, otherwise it is in excellent condition. The enamel portrait has a 2-1/2 inch diameter. In the center of the top is a miniature portrait of a beautiful lady in 18th century dress with a flowered hat. Her face is quite lovely she has a very peaceful and beautiful look about her. The box is in excellent condition and measures 3-3/4 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 1-1/4 inches high. The portrait and the box are in excellent condition. Unusual antique love token bracelet consisting of 13 United States American Half Dimes dating from the 1840s to the 1870s. The bracelet has an additional 5 Canadian nickels that are about the same size of the American half dimes. The Canadian nickels have a portrait of Queen Victoria with names or initials engraved on the back. This is a rare love token bracelet in excellent condition. Beautiful antique 18k gold enamel lady's pin set pendant watch. The back of the watch has a hand detailed surface and an enamel flower. The front has a shield shaped cartouche where one could engrave a name or initials. It has a beautiful enamel flower on the front along with extensive handwork around the flower. It is a pin set movement. To set the time you depress the pin with your thumbnail and while holding the pin in you turn the crown to set the time. After you have set the time you release the pin set and then wind the watch as you would any normal pendant or pocket watch. The watch is in excellent condition and keeps good time. The watch measures 29mm wide and from the top loop to the bottom of the watch it measures 40.5mm. Weight 17.7 grams.
