Oil on board, looks Dutch, and one of the sailing boats is flying a Dutch pennant. Certainly European. Scene is fishing with nets and sailing boats in close coastal waters, with cattle and church. Oil on board. Some little dust bumps can be seen in the varnish, and there is a lot of surface dust, but presumably if desired, it could be cleaned off and re-varnished. Very nice frame, bronzed wood effect - gesso and wood. Whole measures 36 cm by 41.5 cm. Actual painting is 16.5 cm by 22 cm. There are two or three little bits out of the frame (repairable quite easily) but in very good condition overall. 18th or 19th century in style, but true age unknown, no signature.
